If you’ve stopped by to have a look, you’ve probably already seen my resume / cover letter, and maybe my LinkedIn profile. Here you can take a deeper dive into what I’ve done, and what I can offer you and your organization.
I’ve been teaching writing at Salem State University since it was Salem State College! I was lucky to have colleagues and administrators who I respect and admire. They also supported my efforts to improve existing programs (see Long Form Proposal), and try new teaching methods, which, according to my teaching evaluations, met with success. I was also lucky to have a job that allowed me to raise my family the way I wanted.
So (I hear you ask), why am I looking for work, and what do I want to do? My beautiful daughter is now in college. I need (want!) a fuller work day. My volunteer / community work has brought me as much satisfaction as my gainful employment; I seek the opportunity to combine both. I have chosen work samples that display a combination of organization, writing, and computer skill sets.
